Dear friend,

We’re excited to announce that starting today, December 6th, every donation will be matched by a generous donor – doubling your donation until we reach €10,000! If you donate €10, we receive €20. This is your chance to amplify your support for our community center, Paréa Lesvos, which provides a safe haven for people on the move during the harsh winter months.

With temperatures dropping and limited heating in the refugee camp, Paréa offers visitors a warm, welcoming space to relax, connect, and share a nourishing meal. To keep this vital space open through 2025, we are currently working towards raising €50,000 through our Winter Fundraiser Campaign.

Thanks to all the supporters who have donated so far, we have raised €6,000. But we still need your support! The crisis on the Aegean islands continues, with more people arriving at Lesvos every day. As other NGOs scale back, Paréa Lesvos is needed now more than ever to provide a sense of safety and normalcy to visitors.

Introducing our Solidarity Merch line!

To support our fundraising efforts, we’ve launched a new merch line. Get your t-shirt, hat or tote bag now! Choose from items featuring designs inspired by our slogan, “Dark Times Need Colorful Places” or catchy phrases like “F*ck Frontex, Make Love”.  All proceeds will go to fund our project on Lesvos.

First Solidarity Flea Market Success in Frankfurt!

Last Saturday, we joined the Schaumainkai Flea Market in Frankfurt to raise awareness and funds for our Winter Campaign. Thanks to the support of our community who donated many beautiful handcrafts, we raised funds for our project and spoke with many people about our work on Lesvos and the challenges faced by people on the move. Building on this success, we’re excited to announce another event in Frankfurt on Wednesday, December 11: Join us for a Solidarity Gathering orStammtisch at café Koz from 6 to 9pm. We hope to see some of our supporters and connect with others in Frankfurt who are interested in our work and the situation for people on the move on European borders. If you’re based in Frankfurt, we’d love to see you there!
